Terms of Use
QalbNourish, operated by Radiant North Consulting ("we", "us", "our"). Last updated: 11 July 2026.
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Radiant North Consulting governing your use of the QalbNourish mobile app and related services ("the App"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Please read this first: the nature of our guidance
QalbNourish offers reflective, faith-centered spiritual practices with an AI companion. The guidance is generated by artificial intelligence and may be imperfect or incomplete.
- It is not a religious ruling (fatwā) and is not a substitute for a qualified scholar or imam. For religious rulings, consult a qualified scholar.
- It is not medical, psychological, or mental-health advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and is not a substitute for a licensed professional.
- If you are in crisis or may be in danger, contact your local emergency services immediately, or a suicide-and-crisis helpline for your country (you can find one at findahelpline.com). The App is not an emergency service.
You rely on the guidance at your own discretion and are responsible for the decisions you make.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, if higher) to use the App. By using it, you represent that you meet this requirement and can form a binding contract.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Please provide accurate information and notify us of any unauthorized use. You may delete your account at any time within the App (Profile → Privacy → Delete account).
3. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation
- Auto-renewing subscriptions. QalbNourish offers auto-renewable subscriptions (e.g., monthly and annual "Qalb Plus" plans). Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
- Free trial. Where offered, a free trial converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- Renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew for the same period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Managing and cancelling. Manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
- Prices. Prices are shown in the App and may vary by region and over time. We may change prices with notice as permitted by the app stores.
- Refunds. Purchases are handled by Apple and Google and are subject to their refund policies. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
- Gifts / "Sponsor a soul." Where available, sponsorship purchases are charitable-style gifts that grant access to others; they are non-refundable except as required by the app stores or law.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to: use the App for any unlawful purpose; attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems; misuse the AI to generate harmful, abusive, or infringing content; resell or commercially exploit the App; or use it in a way that harms others or violates their rights.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the reflections and content you create in the App. You grant us a limited license to process and store your content solely to operate and provide the App to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the content you submit.
6. Our content and intellectual property
The App, its design, text, features, and the QalbNourish name and logos are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own non-commercial use. Islamic source texts referenced in the App are used for educational and devotional purposes.
7. Third-party services
The App relies on third-party services (including Apple, Google, OpenAI, and others). Your use of the App may also be subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.
8. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the guidance will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your circumstances. Your use of the App is at your own risk.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Radiant North Consulting and its owners, employees, and providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, goodwill, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the App. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD 50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Radiant North Consulting from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the App or violation of these Terms.
11. Termination
You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or where necessary to protect the App or its users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnification) will survive.
12. Changes to these Terms or the App
We may update these Terms or modify the App from time to time. When we make material changes to the Terms, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Your continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Radiant North Consulting is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You and we agree to resolve disputes in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless applicable law grants you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
